Nasif Hossain is a graduate student in Computing Science working under Professor Nilanjan Ray at the University of Alberta and Professor Gilbert Bigras at the Cross Cancer Institute. He is currently working on a Digital Pathology project, researching better tumor and nuclei segmentation approaches. Nasif also has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Alberta in Computing Science Specialization, and has worked in the industry as a software developer as well as an Instructor for a few years. Nasif’s hobbies include playing online games with friends, reading novels and manga and travelling.
